Dr David Rubens is Executive Director of the Institute of Strategic Risk Management and had taken on the role of Executive Director of IOR. He is recognised as a global authority on strategic risk and crisis management. He has worked on global development programmes with major organisations from government ministries, academic institutes, NGOs and the private sector.

It was the connection between NSDCU and Dr Rubens that set the initial impetus for the development of this programme.
